Where the mask meets the paperwork
Who's behind this
I'm Perez — a St. Petersburg native, now based in the US. I built the free Russia Trip Planner and these guides because every English resource on getting into Russia was either years out of date or quietly selling something.
Taiga Yaga is the fixer I wish I'd had: honest numbers, the exact route for your passport, and invitation paperwork that clears the consulate the first time — one person who's done this, not a call centre.

The business
Taiga Yaga is operated by Gostev and Son LLC, a New York limited liability company (USA).
How invitations get issued
Taiga Yaga doesn't issue invitations itself — and that's the honest part most sites hide. Every tourist invitation (voucher) is issued through a tour operator licensed in Russia's federal tourism registry; the document carries that operator's registry number, and you can check it against the government register. What we do is make the invitation and your consulate application line up exactly — because a city or date mismatch between the two is the number-one reason applications get refused.
